ECIS is welcoming a new cohort for the Early Career Teachers programme in 2026–27, designed to support international school educators in their first few years of teaching. Led by experienced educators and coaches Anja Junginger and Brianna Gray, this year-long programme fosters community-building, peer coaching, and research-informed professional learning.
Beginning in November, the programme comes at a valuable point in the school year: early career teachers have had time to settle into their roles, experience the realities of their classrooms and school communities, and begin to recognise where they would like to build confidence or develop their practice further. Through interactive learning, reflection, peer coaching, and connection with colleagues at a similar stage of their careers, participants will have space to explore the questions and challenges that are emerging from their own experience, strengthen their practice, and continue growing as international educators.
This programme is for teachers in the first few years of their teaching career, as well as teachers who may have experience in other types of schools but are new to international education. It is designed both for teachers seeking additional support as they find their feet and for those who are settling in well and want to invest in their continued growth and development.
The programme is not suitable for those who are still undertaking their initial teacher training.

-Teachers in their first few years of teaching
-Educators transitioning to international schools for the first time
(Not suitable for those still in teacher training)
Additionally, school leaders supporting participants will be invited to a virtual
ECT Leadership Café to also support alignment with school initiatives.

FEES
8 x 1.5 hour sessions from November 2026 to June 2027:
£300 for non-ECIS members
£260 for level 1 ECIS members
