This interactive in-person workshop is designed for educators who facilitate collaborative discussions and want to sharpen their ability to lead with clarity, purpose, and inclusivity. The session moves beyond agenda-setting to focus on how intentional meeting design can elevate voices, deepen engagement, and drive meaningful outcomes. Participants will explore the frameworks, practise practical strategies, and reflect on school-based scenarios to strengthen their facilitation approach. Through peer learning, structured dialogue, and guided reflection, educators will develop the confidence and tools to lead conversations that are both focused and inclusive. By the end of the day, they will leave with a facilitation toolkit and a renewed mindset grounded in empathy, intentionality, and collaborative leadership.

Facilitator

Nancy Lhoest-Squicciarini is the Head of Middle Leadership, hosts the #ISLECISLoft, and facilitates the Middle Leader Cafés. With over 35 years of experience in international education, her previous roles have included Head of Community Relations, Assistant Principal, and Director of Teaching and Learning.

As a skilled facilitator, she has spent over a decade as a trainer for the Principals’ Training Center, was a trainer for the Council of International Schools Evaluator Course and is a member of the International Association of Facilitators. Nancy is a passionate advocate for women in education, serving as a Trustee and Global Strategic Leader for @WomenEd and co-leading @WomenEdLuxembourg. In both 2022 and 2024, ISC Research named her an #Edruptor for her influential social media presence in the international school community.
