Identifying Learning Barriers & Selecting Strengths-Based Solutions through the Lense of UDL: 16 May

Together, we will dig into the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, and how this tool can be used as a scaffold to increase efficiency and effectiveness of teams who are working to support all learners.

Through the lens of UDL, participants will gain easy to implement strategies for focusing team communication around the strengths and funds of knowledge of all learners, and how to leverage the UDL framework to the learning design process at all stages to ensure all learners have an equal opportunity to develop as expert learners. Participants will gain three easy to implement strategies and tools for reframing communication through the lens of UDL, identifying barrier-clues, and tapping into learner strengths and funds of knowledge to design learning and learning environments that are designed to support all learners.
