ECIS AI in Education Webinar Series – Vibe coding for educators: from idea to live app: Dec 01 2026

15:00 UK time

Presenter: Adam Bradford
Host: Sarah Kupke

This is a practical session for teachers who want to build their own classroom tools and have been quietly assuming they can’t.

Adam walks through the three-tool stack behind everything on biologybybradford.com: Claude Code to write the software, GitHub to keep track of it, and Vercel and Supabase to put it online and store data.

Most of it costs nothing. The rest costs a Claude Pro subscription.
You’ll see the four-step workflow he uses on every project: write the idea down as a plan, get a second AI to pick holes in it, let Claude Code build it, then fix what looks wrong by showing it screenshots. Then he does it live, from blank page to deployed app, in ten minutes (maybe).

You don’t need to know how to code. You do need to be comfortable being slightly out of your depth for an hour. That’s where the good stuff happens.

You’ll leave with a working setup checklist, the one security rule you can’t skip, and a realistic sense of what one teacher can ship in a term.

Adam Bradford is an IB and AP Biology teacher at Leysin American School in Switzerland, where he has been teaching since 2013.
His passion for biology was sparked while diving in Fiji before university, while his love of teaching began even earlier through instructing karate. Since then, teaching has become a natural extension of his curiosity and interests, whether through diving, climbing, running, or exploring new areas of learning. That passion for instruction ultimately led him to bring his academic love of biology into the classroom.
Adam believes that humility and reflection are essential strengths for any educator. Teachers are always learning too, and he enjoys the challenge of mastering new syllabi, exploring new approaches and learning from colleagues and students alike. He is particularly interested in using AI meaningfully in the classroom, gamifying learning to increase engagement, building strong relationships with students, and exploring motivation and Self-Determination Theory.
Above all, Adam is passionate about empowering students to take ownership of their learning and become confident advocates for their own education.
