What does effective child protection look like in practice—and where can schools find trusted resources, created and reviewed by experts, to support your work?
Join us for an informative and practical webinar exploring a curated collection of free, expert-reviewed, research-supported child protection and safeguarding resources designed to help international schools strengthen their safeguarding practices and build safer learning communities.
Debbie Downes, Dan Furness, and Dr. Leila Holmyard will share resources developed by the International Taskforce on Child Protection (ITFCP), of which ECIS is a founding member, and other resources developed in collaboration with the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC).
From navigating digital safety challenges to responding to adult conduct concerns, we’ll share guidance and practical tools that educators, school leaders, and child protection teams can use in their own contexts. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of what’s available, where to find it, and how these resources can support their school’s ongoing safeguarding efforts.
Whether you’re a safeguarding lead, school leader, counselor, or educator, this session will help you discover trusted resources to inform your practice, strengthen your approach, and support the safety and well-being of every student.
