ECIS Research-Informed Schools SIG Webinar – Small Steps, Big Difference: Growing Student Agency Through Data-Informed Changemaking: 29 April

13:00 (London time)
Facilitator: Oksana Matviisyna

This session explores how small, intentional student actions can lead to meaningful and measurable growth in agency and changemaking. Grounded in classroom-based inquiry, the presentation shares how pre- and post-assessment data were used to track the development of students’ ability to initiate, reflect on, and lead change. Participants will see how evidence-informed practices can make student growth visible while supporting a culture of reflection and purpose. The session highlights practical strategies for embedding changemaking into everyday learning and for using data to guide and sustain impact. Time will be dedicated to discussion, inviting participants to connect the approach to their own contexts and professional inquiry.

Oksana Matviishyna is an international educator with a strong International Baccalaureate (IB) background and a deep passion for teaching and learning.
