Research Informed Schools SIG Webinar: Virtual communities of practice for teachers: Sandcastle: 19 May

In Fall 2024, a group of individuals began supporting action research as professional development, in virtual communities of practice. Participants of the initiative, called Sandcastle, take on their own projects – whatever is right for them – and get support from the rest of us “out on the beach” as we build our own metaphorical sandcastles. A few participants have written about the experience, a few more have presented to others. We have high hopes for the uplift, support, and community we have found so far and hope to continue learning together. There is no money involved and anyone with a project is invited to join.
