Middle Leaders are the change agent in a school​ and the first team meeting in this new role is an opportunity to build trust and set the tone for effective collaboration. As the saying goes, you only get to make a first impression once​. This one-hour virtual session will provide strategies to lead the first team meeting with purpose.

Grounded in the ECIS Middle Leader program principles of trust, instructional leadership, and leading teams, this interactive workshop offers practical guidance on running the initial team meeting for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Discover how to establish a foundation of trust, clarify your team’s norms, and create meaningful meeting agendas. Participants will engage in breakout room activities to share experiences and to build their professional learning network for ongoing support and growth.

• Establish team norms to promote effective and productive meetings.
• Connect and collaborate with fellow middle leaders to exchange ideas and begin building a supportive professional learning network across international schools.
