The ECIS Global Pedagogy Certificate in UDL: 14 January

The ECIS Global Pedagogy Certificate in UDL: 14 January

08:45-14:30 (London time)
Online
Faciliated by Beth Stark

The ECIS Global Pedagogy Certificate is a practical, forward-looking introduction to Universal Design for Learning (UDL), designed for teachers who are ready to take the first steps toward more inclusive, flexible, and identity-aware practice. Grounded in the CAST UDL Guidelines (version 3.0), this session recognises that UDL isn’t an add-on, quick fix or a silver bullet-but a powerful framework for designing with learner variability at the centre. Teachers will explore how identity, culture, and experience influence how students engage, access content, and express their learning, and will begin applying strategies from the UDL principles of engagementrepresentation, and action & expression. Through discussion, reflection, and practical examples, participants will leave with adaptable tools and a clear starting point for designing everyday learning experiences that remove barriers and support the success of all learners.

Session 1: Why UDL Changes Everything

Session 2: Designing for the Learners in Front of You

Session 3: Making Learning Work for Everyone
