ECIS AI in Education Webinar Series – What Do We Keep? Teaching, Judgment, and Agency in the Age of AI: 27 October 2026

27 October
13:00 (UK time)

Presented by:Marsha Maxwell

Hosted by: Sarah Kupke

AI is becoming remarkably good at making things easier. It can summarize, suggest, predict, plan, and increasingly make a pretty good first decision.

And that raises a more interesting question:

What happens to us when it does?

In this seminar, we’ll look beneath the convenience of AI and explore how it can shape what we notice, the choices we make, and even what we come to value as learning. We’ll think about judgement, creativity, student agency, relationships, and where human and machine intelligence work well together.

Along the way, teachers will consider a question that may matter more and more:

What do I want to keep doing myself?
