Join Maia Bristol in conversation with Dan Shrewsbury about the importance of a Whole School Approach to effective sustainability education, and the role teachers and school-wide initiatives can play in catalysing meaningful change.

Maia is a member of the SIG and Sustainability Lead at St. Gilgens School, while Dan is the co-lead of EcoSchools at Paris International School. Both are completing Master’s studies at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales.

Dan is the co-lead of EcoSchools at Paris International School and has 18 years of teaching experience across three continents. A strong advocate for environmental education, he has led sustainability initiatives, including Eco-Schools and Green Flag projects, and is passionate about empowering students to engage with environmental challenges and create meaningful change. He is currently completing Master’s studies at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales.
