Transforming your curriculum into an outdoor learning experience does not require a complete overhaul—it simply requires seeing your existing subjects through a different lens. This workshop offers a practical walk-through of tried-and-tested ideas across the curriculum, demonstrating how a schools outdoor space can seamlessly complement classroom learning, provide a setting for discovery, deepening students’ understanding of key learning concepts through hands-on engagement.

A core focus of our time together will be embracing the philosophy that “less is more.” By stepping back and creating space within our lessons, we open the door for discovery and allow room for the unintended outcome! The intention is that you will leave this workshop with actionable ideas which can be used in your unique context, the confidence to step outside your classroom and a renewed appreciation for how simple, intentional outdoor experiences can enrich both teaching and learning.
