ECIS SIG Webinar-Research-Informed Schools: The Power of Language Inclusion: 27 January
14:00 (London time)
Presented by Patrice Thompson
When students’ languages and cultures are recognized as assets, they connect more deeply: to learning, to each other, and to the school community. This webinar explores the power of language inclusion as a pathway to belonging and engagement in international classrooms. Participants will learn how translanguaging and language-inclusive practices can benefit all students, not only those learning English. Together, we’ll look at practical ways to draw on students’ cultural and linguistic identities to strengthen relationships, support learning, and celebrate the rich diversity that makes our schools thrive.
