Libraries SIG Webinar: Lessons from the Library – From a Reader to an Author: My Journey of Self Publishing: 26 March
14:00 (London time)
This webinar describes the experience of publishing a book with Amazon Direct Publishing. It’s a cautionary tale about digital safety and online dangers based on true life experience. The target audience is upper primary students to young adults, and the purpose is to raise awareness of online safety in the hope that fewer people would be harmed like us. It is also a learning journey about how a book was born from the beginning to the very last step. Eleanor Duggan will talk about how the idea originated in the first place, the writing process, people involved, and why she chose Kindle as the self-publishing channel.
